The Grund Club proudly presents one of its combinations in Echternach. Sven Sauber and Lata Gouveia are two founding members of the club with individual careers as performing and recording artists. This is a rare opportunity to see them performing together in duo.
Versatile session musician, guitarist, tutor, composer, producer and arranger Sven Sauber was born in Luxembourg in 1986 and moved back to Luxembourg in 2015 after his music studies in Paris and London to quickly make a name for himself as a sideman for all kinds of projects and bands. Playing amongst other with and for: The Grund Club Songwriters, The Grund Club Voices, Snoop’s Under-the-Roof Band, Lata Gouveia, Spaghetti Western, Kid Colling, Marc Welter’s Joint Bunch, Sitta and many others. His first solo record « Another Day » was released in March 2020.
Singer-songwriter Lata Gouveia is a cousin to the Red Dirt songwriting tradition from Oklahoma, where he lived for several years. With 3 solo albums to his name and a 4th one coming in October 2020, Lata is better known in Luxembourg for his blistering rock performances with his band. However, as a member of the Grund Club Lata Gouveia also performs acoustic shows in a variety of formations.
